JOINT EVENT OF THE NAF BOSTON AND THE EERSTE NEDERLANDSTALIGE SCHOOL in BOSTON (ENSiB)

To celebrate that the Dutch community is slowly returning to Boston, and the kids preparing to go back to school again, we are planning a family picnic. There will not be an elaborate children's program, but ENSiB will coordinate games on site. This is a great opportunity for newcomers to meet the Dutch community in Boston.

The picnic will be held at the 50 acre Danehy Park in the Cambridge Fresh Pond area, within walking distance of the Alewife T Station. After crossing the bridge across the railroad tracks, the park is on the left behind the Fresh Pond Mall. There are several parking lots.

We will meet near the "Tot Lot" and picnic tables near the soccer fields. It is a public park, and this is the USA, so no alcoholic beverages.

Bring your own food, drinks, blankets, chairs, frisbees, balls etc. Sharing of food is encouraged.

There is a "Dog Park" for those who bring their dogs.

There are several fields for a relaxed game of soccer.

Participation is free, but please register, so we will be able to plan the event and contact you in case of cancellation due to inclement weather.
