Government's supporting regime for solar power projects in Vietnam finally out

Corporate income tax: solar power projects will also enjoy the same corporate income tax exemption and reduction as projects in sectors receiving investment incentives according to the current regulations on taxation. For example, corporate income tax rate of 10% will be applied for 15 years, tax exemptions within 4 years and tax reduction by 50% in the next 9 years.

Environmental protection projects provided with capital assistance

The Ministry of Finance has issued Circular No. 12/2017/TT-BTC guiding the procedures of supporting investment capital for environmental protection projects, which are protected by the State under the form of granting the Patent for Invention or Utility Solution as stipulated at Decree No. 19/2015/NĐ-CP detailing the Law on Environmental Protection.

FTAs – golden key for Vietnam's economic integration

Vietnam plans to devise measures such as refining trade and investment policies, attracting high-quality foreign investment projects, and adjusting the structure of domestic and import-export market to optimise opportunities from FTAs. Da Nang set to build new High-tech farms

The city has a total of 50 farms but these provide only 10 percent of demand for vegetables and farm produce. New technology ups rice value in Can Tho

All activities, including separating paddy from husk, whitening the rice and removing almost 95 per cent of impurities, are automated. Phung Hoang is the first enterprise in Việt Nam to apply this technology. Le Van Tam, Vice Chairman of Can Tho People's Committee, said the new processing method deployed by Phung Hoang 3 Rice Mill will contribute positively to high-tech farming development in the southern city.

Sharp rise in Q1 fertiliser imports

HCM City to develop food industry
