Canada: ambassade vraagt belastinghulp en Esther zoekt stageplaats

150 year Canada and already 15 years of Postbode.

Esther zoekt stageplaats

My name is Esther van de Kerkhof. I'm 18 years old and live in the Netherlands. I am looking for a student placement in Ottawa.

I am currently enrolled in a four-year Bachelor of Business Studies program at Avans University of Applied Sciences in the city of 's-Hertogenbosch, the Netherlands. As part of my program, I would like to do a student placement in Canada, partly to improve my English-language skills.

I am looking for a challenging and educational five-month long student placement from August 28, 2017 until January 26, 2018. During this time, it is expected, as part of my placement with a company, that I complete an independent project assignment and also get work experience working alongside staff.

My preferred project assignment would be in marketing, marketing communication or human resource management. Other options would be customer satisfaction research, market research and/or analyzing and improving logistics flows of products. These are just some of the many possibilities. Assignments can be tailor-made to suit your organization's needs.

If you are interested or you know of a business that would be able to accommodate me, I would love to hear from you.

April 3: SMARTinsights Discussion and Film Screening of Dutch Renewable Energy Documentary

The Ottawa Renewable Energy Co-operative (OREC) and SMARNTet Alliance are partnering to bring you the Canadian premiere of the Dutch documentary "Power to the People".  This event will also include a discussion on the future of the clean economy moderated by a local expert of renewable energy technologies.

Gezocht: NL belastingkennis

De Postbode is an informal newsletter for the Dutch community mostly in Ottawa and Eastern Canada, run by a volunteer. You can provide news with strong local Dutch content; we can add it to The Postbode. We might (may have to) edit your text. We can also decide not to publish. Occasionally, the embassy might ask the Postbode to share newsworthy items.
