From global to regional: an economic and investment outlook
What does 2018 have in store for us? The Finance Committee of the Dutch Chamber is honoured to announce a global and regional financial outlook for the coming year presented by APAC Chief Economists Alicia García Herrero from Natixis and Rob Carnell from ING. Where Rob will focus on the global outlook and the impact of FED tightening, Alicia will zoom in on emerging markets in Asia and highlight China and Japan in particular.

Exclusive offer of The Ring Cycle Part 4: Gotterdammerung concert for Dutch Chamber Members

The internationally and locally acclaimed performance of Wagner's complete Ring Cycle given by the Hong Kong Philharmonic Orchestra (HK Phil), reaches its fourth and last part - Götterdämmerung - on 18 and 21 January 2018 at the Hong Kong Cultural Centre Concert Hall. Once again, the HK Phil's Music Director Jaap van Zweden conducts the performances and is joined by a cast of world-renowned Wagnerian singers and outstanding choruses. Dutch Chamber members receive a 10% discount on the concert on 18 January.

Music & Science in Hong Kong

Utrecht University and the Dutch Harp Festival invite alumni of all Dutch higher education institutions for a special event in Hong Kong. Prof. dr. Pierre Robe will speak during this event. Robe operated a singer who was awake and singing, to make sure he did not damage the good parts of the singers' brain. World renowned harpist Remy van Kesteren will talk about the relation between music and science before playing his concert. Annemieke Ruigrok, Consul General of the Netherlands in Hong Kong, will welcome you on this evening.
