The Peter Stuyvesant Ball (PSB) is an annual elegant and festive black tie event, at which the NAF Patrons, HRH Princess Margriet and Professor Pieter van Vollenhoven, are invited to join diplomatic envoys and influential leaders and friends of the Dutch-American community from both sides of the pond in support of the NAFs crucial and vital activities. Our popular post-event Nightclub will again take place at Freddy’s Heineken Bar. An exciting silent auction will be held.

The PSB is the single largest source of funding for the NAF, the foremost bilateral foundation initiating and supporting high-impact exchanges between the Netherlands and the United States. During the evening, KLM Royal Dutch Airlines will yet again recognize a NAF-Fulbright alumnus/a with its Sustainability and Innovation Award. Your participation will support our commitment to two important programs of the NAF:

  • Education through the NAF-Fulbright Fellowships awarded to highly talented Dutch and American students pursuing graduate level studies at universities in each other’s countries.
  • Culture through grants to emerging and established visual and performing artists, architects and designers, writers, historians, translators and for historic preservation, to increase the exchange of talent between the U.S. and the Netherlands
